Real Annabelle Story, The Haunted Doll From THE CONJURING

Do yo remember Annabelle, the doll from 'The Conjuring'...Here is her true story...

Annabelle is real.

One of the creepiest parts of the truly scary The Conjuring is the evil possessed doll Annabelle, who makes up the cornerstone of Ed and Lorraine Warren's spooky museum of trophies. Director James Wan redesigned Annabelle for the movie, giving her a much more disturbing appearance, but in real life Annabelle was just your run of the mill Raggedy Ann doll.

Donna got Annabelle from her mother in 1970; mom bought the used doll at a hobby store. Donna was a college student at the time, and living with a roommate named Angie, and at first neither thought the doll was anything special. But over time they noticed Annabelle seemed to move on her own; at first it was really subtle, just changes in position, the kinds of things that could be written off as the doll being jostled. But the movement increased, and within a few weeks it seemed to become fully mobile. The girls would leave the apartment with Annabelle on Donna's bed and return home to find it on the couch.

Their friend Lou hated the doll. He thought there was something deeply wrong with it, something evil, but the girls were modern women and didn't believe that sort of thing. There must be an explanation, they reasoned. But soon Annabelle's actions got even weirder - Donna began to find pieces of parchment paper in the house with messages written on it. "Help us," they would say, or "Help Lou." Just to make the whole thing that much creepier nobody in the house had parchment paper. Where the hell was it coming from?

The escalation continued. One night Donna returned home to find Annabelle in her bed, with blood on her hands. The blood - or some sort of red liquid - seemed to be coming from the doll itself. That was enough; Donna finally agreed to bring in a medium. The sensitive sat with the doll and told the girls that long before their apartment complex had been built there had been a field on that property. A seven year old girl named Annabelle Higgins had been found dead in that field. Her spirit remained, and when the doll came into the house the girl latched on to it. She found Donna and Angie to be trustworthy. She just wanted to stay with them. She wanted to be safe with them.

Being sweet, nurturing types - they were both nursing students - Donna and Angie agreed to let Annabelle stay with them. And that's when all hell broke loose.

Lou started having bad dreams, dreams where Annabelle was in his bed, climbing up his leg as he lay frozen, sliding up his chest to his neck and closing her stuffed hands around his throat, choking him out. He would wake up terrified, head pounding like all blood had been cut off to his brain. He was freaking out. He was worried about the girls.

A few days later he and Angie were hanging out, planning a road trip, when they heard someone moving around in Donna's room. They froze - was it a break in? Was there an intruder in the apartment? Lou crept over to the door, listening to rustling within. He threw open the door and everything was as it should be - except Annabelle was off the bed and sitting in a corner. As he approached the doll Lou was consumed with that feeling, a burning on the back of the neck that indicates someone was staring at you and he spun around. Nobody was there. The room was empty. And then sudden pain on his chest. He looked in his shirt and saw a series of raking claw marks, rough ditches in his flesh that burned. He knew Annabelle had done it.

The weird claw marks began healing almost immediately. They were totally gone in two days. They were like no wounds any of them had ever seen before. They knew they needed more help, and they turned to an Episcopalian priest, who in turned called in Ed and Lorraine Warren.

It didn't take the Warrens long to come to their conclusion: there was no ghost in this case. There was an inhuman spirit - a demon - attached to the doll. But they warned that the doll wasn't possessed; demons don't possess things, only people. It was clinging to the doll, manipulating it, in order to give the impression of a haunting. The target was really Donna's soul.

A priest performed an exorcism on the apartment and the Warrens took possession of the doll. They put it in a bag and began the long drive home; Ed agreed to stay off the highways because there was a concern that the demon might fuck with the car, and at 65 miles an hour that would be disastrous. And sure enough, as they drove on the back roads, the engine kept cutting out, the power steering kept failing and even the brakes gave them trouble. Ed opened the bag, sprinkled the doll with holy water and the disturbances stopped... for the moment.

Ed left the doll next to his desk; it began levitating. That happened a couple of times and then it seemed to just quit, finally laying quiet. But in a couple of weeks Annabelle was back to her old tricks; she started appearing in different rooms in the Warren home. Sensing that the doll was ramping back up the Warrens called in a Catholic priest to exorcise Annabelle. The priest didn't take it seriously, telling Annabelle "You're just a doll. You can't hurt anyone!" Big mistake: on his way home the priest's brakes failed, and his car was totaled in a horrible accident. He survived.

Eventually the Warrens built a locked case for Annabelle, and she resides there to this day. The locked case seems to have kept the doll from moving around, but it seems like that whatever terrible entity is attached to it is still there, waiting. Biding its time. Ready for the day when it can again be free.

Starry Eyed

It was a summer. he first met her when they were both stuck on a ferris wheel at the county fair. her name was Sarah. he hadn't really noticed her before in school; but in the car he could see the dark flecks of green in her pretty green eyes, the freckles crossing the bridge of her nose, the darker blonde streaks in her blonde hair. he realized how pretty she was then, with her cute farmgirl look, and his heart beat faster just glancing at her.

He had been head over heels for her for months now, but he had kept it to himself, he really had. no one expected Peter Bishop to have a crush on a girl that barely anyone noticed. they all expected him to go out with ava, a girl apparently suited more to his 'popularity'. he didn't really care about popularity, not really, he just cared about Sarah and what she was doing and what she thought of him.

They had math together, which was very unfortunate for him, because math was definitely not Peter's good subject at all. he failed miserably and didn't quite understand algebra two (using the word quite was being nice to the poor boy). it drove him insane, knowing Sarah was only a few feet away while he struggled and nearly cried because he couldn't comprehend any of it.

That day in math, he sat with his feet crossed, aware that there were girls around him that happened to be gossiping about the fact that he was having trouble. the math teacher could see it, too, and she whispered a few words to Sarah, the math genius of the class, which made Sarah come over to him. his heart beat faster with every step she walked towards him, and she kneeled down beside his desk, her arms crossed on it and head resting in the crook.

She asked him, "what do you need help with?" with that soft voice of hers, and he shook his head, running a tan hand through his black hair. she chuckled andsaid, "if you don't tell me, then i can't help you," and he smiled miserably, feeling very self conscious at that moment. Sarah looked over at his paper and picked up his pencil, choosing a problem to explain.

When the bell rang, Peter hopped up and would have bolted out of there, had there not been a girl clutching to his arm and saying, "oh no you don't." he turned to her curiously and she said, "i saw your grade in here when i helped ms. sanchez." Peter cringed. "you need help," she declared, pointing at him, "and lucky for you ms. sanchez has assigned me to tutor you."

He gulped. "are—are you sure?"

Sarah crossed her arms. "damn sure."

"when, then?"

"anytime i tell you." she grinned mischievously. "meet me in the library at lunch." and with that, she was gone.

He entered the library with his sack lunch and sat down. Sarah emerged from the stacks a few minutes later, setting down her stuff at the seat across from him. he assumed that she came from the other side of the library, through the other enterance. he sighed and pulled his sandwich from the bag.

"what exactly are we here for?" Peter asked her, and Sarah replied, "if i'm going to tutor you, i need to get to know you."

so the two talked all lunch period. they both were nervous, legs shaking, voices trembling, palms sweating—for both had loved the other since that day in the ferris wheel, but neither knew it. and they came back again the next day, and for lunch every day, and went to the library after school on wednesdays so that Sarah could tutor Peter. with each session, his grades got better, and he always felt better about himself afterwards.

one day, after their session, Peter blurted, "you should go to the game on friday."

Sarah raised an eyebrow. "um . . . why?"

"i'm the quarterback," he replied, "so you should come."

she smiled. "maybe i will."

At the game on friday, Peter looked for Sarah in the stands and finally spotted her in a green sweater and jeans. he smiled and waved, to which she returned. then she sat down and he started the game, playing more vigorously than he ever had before.

After the game, his teammates all came up to him and said, "way to kick some ass, Bishop!" before finding their friends and hiding away. he looked for Sarah after, and he found her with a group of her friends. they looked like they were about to leave. Sarah told them to go ahead, saying, "i'll catch up with you later!" and jogging to him.

"hi, Sarah," he said to her, smiling.

"hi, Peter."

he sighed. this was it. "so, there's something i want to tell you."

"alright, shoot."

"Sarah montgomery, i've had the biggest crush on you since that day we met in the ferris wheel. you're the prettiest girl i've ever met. you're the kindest, most patient, you know how to deal with my struggles in math—" at this she laughed— "and i've grown closer to you in the time we've gotten to know each other than i've ever been to anyone before. would you do me the honors of letting me take you on a date?"

Sarah, on the verge of tears, nodded yes.

They dated for awhile, through the rest of junior and all of senior year, and all the way through college. you couldn't think to find a happier couple. one night, just for the hell of it, they went to a game at their old high school, cheering the football team on. after, they stood in the spot that Peter had asked her out six years before, and he said, "Sarah, i want to ask you something."

Sarah said, "ask me something."

He turned to her, looking her square in the eye. "you know that the nfl wants me, and i really want to go."

"i know."

"Sarah montgomery, i love you with all my heart. i don't want to go anywhere without you. you are my second half, my soulmate. i can't live without you. you are truly beautiful, and wonderful, and the only girl i want to spend the rest of my life with." Sarah started crying as Peter got down on one knee. "will you do the honors of being my wife?"

Sarah exclaimed, "yes!" and hugged him, kissing him on the lips.

Just then, the coach (who happened to also be Peter's old coach from high school) came out with the quarterback of their team, nick. he had said, "i want you to meet my star quarterback of the old days, Peter Bishop," and led nick out to the spot where he had seen Peter and Sarah last. nick looked perplexed to see the two kissing, looking towards the coach; coach just smiled and said, "i haven't ever seen two people more starry eyed."

World's longest married couple - 87 Years..!!

To have and to hold ... for 87 years! World's longest married couple share their secrets to living happily ever after

Karam, 107, and Katari, 100, have been married for 87 years. They have 8 children and 28 grandchildren together. The marriage is almost 5 years longer than current Guinness record holders. Couple say that laughter and looking after each other is key to marriage

In an age where few marriages endure the test of time, 107-year-old Karam and his wife Katari Chand, 100, are proof that happy ever after does exist. The couple, who have eight children and twenty eight grandchildren together, have lived in wedded bliss for 87 years making them the world's longest married couple.

The pair say that the key to success is looking after each other in every way possible: ‘My trick is to make Katari laugh. I like to tell jokes and make her smile. Being funny is my way of being romantic.' says Karam.

‘I have been told laughing makes you live longer... my wife is still alive so it must have worked! I love her so much and I want to spend another 80 years by her side,’ said Karam.

From romantic meals to sharing jokes, the couple, who hail from Punjab, India and now live in Bradford ensure that they do little things for each other to keep the romance alive.

Katari told to a networking site: ‘When I was young I used to make him a nice fresh meal every night. We are vegetarian so I brought lots of fresh vegetables and made sure he was eating healthy food.

‘Health is very important and I wanted to look after him so we could grow old together. Some would say it has worked!

‘Oh and how can I forget, I always save a bit of my chapatti for him. Just a little gesture that he appreciated a lot and it kept me a bit slimmer.’

Karam, who likes to do a word search every day to keep his mind alive, believes that spending plenty of time together has helped their marriage last.

‘We have not spent any long span apart in over 50 years. We go everywhere together – up until a few years ago we went to India every year with the family and for all family weddings we make sure we get to stay together,’ he said.

Their marriage has lasted nearly five years longer than that of the current Guinness World Record holders and the couple are in the process of getting confirmation from the company
that they will be named as the new record holders.

Many modern day romances fail to stand the test of time but longevity and experience makes Karam the best man to go to for relationship advice.

‘In the past people used to listen. Now I don’t think people take the time to listen to each other properly. People seem too busy today with work, TV and other stuff going on around them.

‘Relationships are about understanding one another and listening to concerns and problems, so my advice to men and women is to listen to their partners, show interest in what they are saying and help them overcome any worries or problems they are going through,’ he said.

And their son Satpaul, who is extremely proud of his parent’s relationship, added his own words of wisdom. He said: ‘One piece of advice that I can’t stress enough is to keep your parents very close. We live with them in Bradford and look after them because we want to help them live as long as they can together.

‘I don’t want to see their love story end. I truly believe that by helping them over the last few years we have enabled them to enjoy their time together with no stress and being looked after.

'Also, you have to value them while they are here because you never know how long they are going to be around for.’

The still loved-up couple, who met through an arranged marriage, are having a big party in November to celebrate Karam’s 107th and Katari’s 100th birthday.

The Mayor of Bradford as well as lots of community members will be joining in the festivities.

THEIR TOP FIVE TIPS TO KEEPING THE ROMANCE ALIVE

1) Always be faithful: always be faithful to one another. When you get married you commit to devoting your life to that person and even when the times are tough, don’t believe that the grass is greener...because it isn’t.

2) Look after each other as best you can: if you want to grow old with your partner you have to make sure you always look after each other in every shape and form. Whether it is making a meal, holding your partners hand when crossing the road or being a shoulder to cry on when something goes wrong.

3) Be tolerant of each other: everyone has bad habits or annoying traits. Whether it is leaving a towel on the floor or listening to the radio too loudly, you have to tolerate each other and realise that no one is perfect. Of course we irritate each other occasionally, but if you want to last nearly 90 years, learn to love bad habits or it won’t work.

4) Listen to each other: the most important thing in a relationship is to listen. People don’t listen anymore because they are too busy with work and TV. Listen to your loved ones’ problems and concerns every day, because then you can help them overcome them and be happier. Also, it brings you closer together because you are the first port of call for each other when there is an issue in your life.

5) Follow social and religious values: always make sure you follow social or religious values. Respect, care, cherish, love and value your partner – always treat them how you would want to be treated yourself

Simple thought to explain Life

Simple thought for the day

A wise man once sat in the audience & cracked a joke.

All laughed like crazy. After a moment, he crackedthe same joke again and a little less people laughed this time.

He cracked the same joke again & again, when there was no laughter in the crowd, he smiled and said, "When u can't laugh on the same joke again & again, then why do u keep crying over the same thing over and over again”

'Forget the past & move on'

Happy Mother’s Day

What is love?

If someone ask this question to me, this would be my possible answer to them.
'Everything that I'm receiving from my mom since birth..'

“Mother” is a beautiful word in the world. Mother is important in our life. She is a big gift of god and we are thanking to god for giving a beautiful gift as a “Mother”. She gives us everything without saying anything.

Mother's Love

A Mother’s love is the most sacred of all love in our lives,

A Mother’s love is the most strongest bond we will ever know,

A Mother’s love is never said just felt deep within our hearts,

A Mother’s love comes from the heart as it will never be shown,

A Mother’s love is true genuine and whole that is never broken apart,

A Mother’s love will never die as in our heart it always thrives.

Who is a Mother ?

A Mother will never doubt, even at our worst of times, our Mother’s are always there with words to encourage us, our Mother’s always know when their children hurt, even without words she makes us feel renewed.

Mother’s always give, then never ask in return, as we with our actions, are the only return she will accept, she always knows when we hurt, even if we live far far away, this is the magic of being a Mother, A Mother’s love has no words of expression, as it’s only a feeling, that makes it so special and real.

As we grow up from a young age, we tend to take for granted our Mother’s love, then as we are grown, with lives of our own, we then realize what a Mother’s love truely is, for some it’s too late, for other’s we change to become like her, Mother’s are truely a blessing from God, that helps us through whatever life puts in our paths.

Those of us that are still blessed to have them with us, need to cherish our time with our Mother’s, for that time is so precious, those who have lost their Mother, still are not alone, as they watch over them, with love from high above,

A Mother will guide us, cry with us, hug us, love us, all while being strong, to show us strength, without our Mother’s, we would be incomplete, for our Mother’s are always watching over us, no matter where we may be, a Mother’s words are a feeling that comes from the heart.

That feeling of warmth we get through our bodies, is really the love of our Mother’s, coming from our hearts.

I strongly believe this fact, 'God can't be everywhere for everyone..so he creates mother and send her to us..'

Mother’s day is a special day for us to recognize, but a Mother’s love is unconditional and available 24/7/365 to us. Happy Mothers' Day, mothers out there. You have the hardest job in the world, and somehow you perform it to perfection.

Amazing Saturn: Giant hurricane, incredible rings

Stunning images from NASA's Cassini spacecraft provide the first close-up, visible-light views of a massive hurricane churning around Saturn's north pole. According to NASA, the hurricane's eye is about 1,250 miles (2,000 kilometers) wide, 20 times larger than the average hurricane eye on Earth. Scientists believe the massive storm has been active for years. Scientists will use the hurricane on Saturn to study hurricanes on Earth that feed off warm ocean water. Meanwhile, a new research has revealed how Saturn keeps itself looking young.

Heartbreaking story of Roona Begum

Roona Begum suffers from hydrocephalus, a rare but treatable disorder that causes fluid to build up in the brain. After Yahoo! India published these pictures taken by an AFP photographer, numerous well-wishers stepped forward to offer financial assistance. Fortis Foundation flew Roona and her family to its Gurgaon hospital and initiated medical examinations. MRI scans have shown an infection inside Roona’s head and doctors are trying to reduce the infection. After the infection subsides, doctors can operate on Roona.

Google Glass: Everything You Need to Know

Hi bloggies..After a long time a post about a tech gadget on this blog..Yeah..It's all about Google Glass..This is a giant myth, at the time of writing this all employees at Google have Google Glass..

What is Google Glass ?

Google Glass is a controversial wearable computer with a head-mounted display (HMD) that is being used to take and share photos, video chat, check and respond to emails and appointments via voice commands and surf the web, all without touching a keyboard or mouse or facing a screen. This is all done with a pair of glasses.

In short, technically I would like to mention it as 'Mini JARVIS'(Just A Rather Very Intelligent System) from the most popular IronMan Series. Keep reading. At the end you might agree with me.

Heed My Command!

Well, all that hardware is put to good use: Google Glass has voice input, which makes everything a lot more interesting. The built-in microphone combined with Google Now connects you directly to the search engine.

You activate Google Now by saying "Okay Glass" then send a command or question. Tilting your head up does the same thing.

You can take a photo or record a video, all by just saying the command for it – more on that, later. On the right, is a touchpad where you can swipe through, to get to menus; tapping, registers your selection.

 Life Pauses For No One

Google Glass users can now live in the moment, and keep that memory in pictures or videos. No more foraging around for a camera, tuning the settings of your photo apps, and letting the moment go by without a single snap. Just say, "Take a Photo" and your view at the moment is captured, hands-free. Imagine the possibiltiies.

Other than photos, you can do the same with videos, which spells opportunities for extreme sports, real-life tutorials and more. Of course, picture quality coming from a device this small would not be comparable to a DSLR camera, but oftentimes, you’d rather not lose out on the moment.

Never Get Lost Again

Since it’s built with a GPS chip, it’ll be able to help you navigate, with help from Google Maps. This will take away the need to look down at your smartphone and it will be especially handy when you are driving, when you’re walking through crowded streets or when you’re hiking through the countryside.

Travellers, backpackers and even long distant cyclists won’t have to stop and check on where they are.

Blend In With The Locals

Think about travelling and visiting a place where you don’t speak the local language.

You can now convert the currency rate, understand the measurement system (metric or not), or translate your questions and their answers on the spot. Get the fun facts, best drinking spots, and gain access to the local secrets when you are still there, not when you are back in your apartment looking through vacation photos.

Live From The Field

Live information that is shown to you would come from the predictive software of Google Now. On Android’s Jelly Bean, Google Now knows when you’re leaving your home for work and can warn you of bad traffic before you get stuck in it.

You can also set your favourite sports team and it’ll give you the latest news, scores and updates from the team, whenever they play.

All those features are available on Android, but with Glass, you can skip checking your device and just get it shown to you as and when it happens, or as news feeds. Google Now cards also shows you your boarding pass, next appointment, hotel or restaurant reservations, reminders for important birthdays and events in your calendar.

OS Compatibility Not An Issue

Google Glass works not only with Android phones but also with the iPhone, according to this report. Apart from the GPS chip inside, Google Glass is dependent on the Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity to deliver its features. It is only fair game it if is available like any third-party accessory.

When paired up with your smart device, it can show social network notifications and let you communicate via the same channels as you would on the computer. This removes the need of looking at your smartphone constantly, giving you more time to concentrate on the task at hand.

Technical specifications

For the developer Explorer units:

Android 4.0.4 and higher.
No official information about display resolution, 640×360 suggested, as it is recommended for app developers.
5-megapixel camera, capable of 720p video recording.
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g.
Bluetooth.
16GB storage (12 GB user available)
682MB RAM.

Glass comes with a Micro USB cable and a charger.

It comes in five colors: Charcoal, Tangerine, Shale, Cotton and Sky.

How much  it costs ?

Google first made Glass available to developers during the Google I/O conference. At the time, it was priced at $1,500 and word has it that it will still be within that price range when it is finally released end of this year.
